What I expected the power planter to be When I started digging my garden It delivered beyond my expectations. So Thumbs up for the Power Planter
This drill is the bomb!! Having a handle to attach to one side helps me immensely to control the 24" Power Planter. I would recommend taking that extra step and purchasing the drill. It makes my life so much easier. Now I just have to figure out how to keep it away from the husband..
Great product to work with; easy to use and 'idiot' proof. Would recommend same.
Spent weeks doing the autumn planting with a handfork till my arm gave up, and with two augers sitting in the shed because my power drill was not powerful enough to use them. Finally I purchased a Dewalt 996 Cordless Drill Kit and I'm back planting. What an awesome combination ! Makes planting so much easier and faster from small holes for bulbs to large, deep holes for trees. It brings out all the small stones and if it jams against roots, just slip it in reverse and it glides out. Not only that, I use it to take out weeds, unwanted seedlings, make shallow depressions around roses and shrubs to irrigate or fertilise. Works wonders with winding out the nutgrass too ! I only regret 'killiing' myself when I could have been having fun !
Once I had got the settings right to suit my strength and soil type I was digging I didn’t want to stop. It has made life so much easier.
